A fantastic turnout of our U7’s for the first training session of the New Year. The kids weren’t affected by the frosty conditions, all were geared up for the session and kept moving for the full hour. The order of the morning was a few fun games followed by some handling drills to keep their hands warm. All the U7’s coaches would like to wish all their players and parents a Happy New Year and they’re looking forward to the second part of the season

U8’s had 29 kids turn up on Sunday morning for training. They session involved the introduction of a number of new drills to improve the passing, handling, evasion and decision making skills. The session finished up with some practice games. The kids had great fun and it was a good way to dust off some of the Christmas cobwebs. Training this Sunday and the coaches will be taking payment for the Leinster game off those who are interested.

U9’s had no training but back to the grind tonight at 7.15pm in the club. The U9’s will be playing their first home game this Sunday in Holmpatrick.

Over 20 U10’s turned up for training last Sunday. The coaches eased the kids back into it by a light and gentle session involving handling stations and an obstacle course/ demolition course followed by a game. Training on Wed at 6.45pm in the club.

U11’s had a good turnout for training last Sunday.

U12’s were training last Sunday.
