I am honoured to be Club President of Skerries RFC for the upcoming season 2019/20 and may I begin by wishing a very warm welcome to all club members, sponsors, supporters, match officials, visiting teams and all who enter the gates of Holmpatrick this season.
On the rugby front, I wish our captain Kevin McGrath, the management & coaching staff the very best for the coming season. To our 2nd team and Under 20s teams, may I wish them continued progress throughout the season. To all involved in our youths, girls and minis sections, may I also wish them continued success and support, both on and off the pitch. I look forward to following the progress of all our teams throughout the season.
This season we also have the visit of Dunbar RFC to our shores and this is a welcome opportunity for us to renew old friendships and forge new ones.
To our many sponsors, may I express my gratitude for your continued generous support of our club, this is greatly appreciated by all.
Our new all-weather pitch development is due to for completion early this season and will be a major benefit to all who participate in the game. A special thank you to all who have done tremendous work in bringing this major project to fruition.
